Pool waterline tiles in a briefing

Porcelain waterline tiles are the perfect choice for someone wanting to maintain a classic, traditional look in their pool and backyard.

In most pools, porcelain tiles or glass tiles are usually used as waterline tiles. A durable tile that will last for years due to it absorbing practically no water along the way, it is also affordable, easy to install, and easy to clean.

Marble is also among the best materials you can use for your swimming pool. It is durable, timeless, and will provide a luxurious finish to the area. Likewise, it will elevate your property's value and make your waterline safer, especially when you use high-quality marble pool copings.

Pool tiles are more durable than tiles found in your kitchen or bathroom, so they tend to last longer. Usually, if proper care is taken, pool tiles last between 5 to 10 years.

Keep in mind sizing and color.

Waterline tile colors help to compliment other aspects such as the coping, deck surface or the trim colors of their house, or just be the focal point by itself.

The size tile to choose is mainly a matter of taste. However, keep in mind that smaller tiles are preferred with irregular pool shapes (free form, kidney) because they are easier to wrap around corners. Some designers also feel that smaller chip sizes give pools a more opulent feel.
